Tier 1 visa Investor
The Tier 1 Investor visa is the type of visa where the applicant has two routes to qualify from; these are by an investment of one million pounds, or by financing one million pounds in the UK. This type of visa is normally granted for a period of three years and after this initial period you can apply for a two year extension. After you have spent a total of five years in the UK on an Investor Visa you may apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain for you and your dependants. As in other categories, one year after you get your Indefinite Leave to Remain you may apply for British citizenship.
