Business Person Visa
The business person visa is actually designed for people outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to be able to come to the UK to run a business full time as a sole trader or in a partnership of a business, or to promote and manage a business full time as a company director.
If you are applying from countries outside the EU, your application for a business person visa will need to be done through the British Diplomatic post of the country you are living in to gain entry clearance to enter the UK.
If you are already in the UK with another visa, you will need to make your application before your current visa expires. This is to prevent you from being put in the position of an overstayed person.
How to apply?
To apply for a business person visa, you will need evidence to show that you intend to be providing services/promoting and managing your company full time. In order to support yourself and your dependants you will also need to show that you will be earning enough money to be able to live in the UK without any assistance from public funds or from employment outside your own business.
